Mirfield CC Cricket Academy

    Mirfield CC are dedicated to providing local youths with the opportunity to play cricket and now boast five Junior Teams who play in either the HW Junior or Huddersfield Junior Cricket League.

    We not only offer the opportunity to play Junior league cricket but also have a number of ECB qualified coaches so youngsters' skills can be developed. Organised coaching and training sessions are held each Friday evening throughout the Summer months.

    This is an ideal opportunity for youngsters to be involved in cricket, develop new skills and, along with their parents, be part of a club committed to Junior cricket in a relaxed and amiable atmosphere.

ECB Clubmark

Mirfield CC are an ECB Clubmark accredited club, achieving this prestigious status in 2010 in recognition of its committment to Junior Cricket and the operation of a core set of values in Club Management. Clubmark is audited by the YCB and renewable every 3-years.

The Clubmark Programme consists of a set of 4 main themes:

  • Duty of Care and Safeguarding Children
  • The Cricket Programme
  • Knowing Your Club and its Community - One Game
  • Club Management
