The Memorial Ground has a long history and is a key landmark on the Huddersfield-Dewsbury main road.

The Memorial Ground was constructed in the aftermath of the First World War and Mirfield CC moved there following the Second World War, in 1952. Surrounded by a wonderful collection of trees, it is one of the most picturesque cricket venues in Kirklees.

The Pavilion contains bar, changing rooms and a welter of MCC memorabilia inside and offer awaiting batsman a side-on view of the action.

The Scorebox is situated at the main-road end of the ground amid even more luscious greenery.

As you can see Mirfield CC have excellent ground facilities and look forward to welcoming visiting teams and spectators to the Memorial Ground during the 2006 season.
